Martin Short Nashville Concert reviews
Ed Sheeran was unbelievable
Bought tickets for Martin Short as soon as they came on sale, me and my friends (all British and Irish). We were all very excited to see him, some more than others, but we were all familiar with his music. Before entering the Mercury Lounge, we actually met him outside. We made sure to grab a photo before going in. To talk to he was a genuinely nice, down to earth guy and seemed to enjoy chatting to us.
He made it feel like there was a full band on stage, using his recording equipment to loop his guitar and voice. Personally I had only heard The A Team and Drunk, so I considered him to be a low-key, chilled music artist. Every song blew me away! Some were high tempo and made us dance; others like small bump and the A team were so sweet and melodic. Short told a few stories before singing the songs which made us relate to the lyrics so much more and fall in love with the song! I was totally shocked - he completely rocked the stage.
One tall English heckler was put in his place by Short when he kept interrupting his stories. I cannot wait to see him again!!
